Esame orale... - Speaking exam...

Esame orale

Entrai in classe.
Continua a ripetere.".
Eppure lei sembrava leggere, i fogli erano inclinati verso i suoi occhi.

Speaking exam

I went in the class. My class. The class where I had to do my speaking exam of the third year of middle school.
Teachers were put in a horseshoe form and there was a chair in the middle of the room, it was for me.
At the end of the room there were some free chairs where some of my class mates and my two witnesses.
Thanks to the dance shows that I had done during my life, I wasn't afraid and I had no tension on me.
"Rossi, sit down and show us your thesis." I nodded and I started. I seemed that all that I had studied, read, listened during the lessons went back to reality without the need to have some revise of it. I could almost imagine to be a teacher who was explain her students the lessons.
All was perfect, maybe it was too perfect. Don't you want that come something strange that screw up everything?
Something had to happen, but everything was too fast to understand what was happening and to control the situation.
"Teacher, I don't say this to be disrespectful, but could you only turn my thesis in your direction? In this moment I can read clearly what I've written."
"Rossi wants to joke today. Continue to repeat.".
What? I could see clearly that the writes were turning on my side. She seamed to read, the pages were tilted toward her eyes.
I was searching a sort of consent in the eyes of other teachers, but they seemed to haven't pay attention on what had just happened. There was someone who was completing registers, someone who was taking notes about my exam. The external commissioner was talking at the phone outside the classroom. We could hear his conversation with his girlfriend in every single word: as you certainly know, school's walls are made with material not scientifically known.
The commissary went back in the room saying that he has had a work call... Yep, all of them say this...
But, wait. Why I could see every single mechanism of the phone that he was holding in his hand?

What was happening to me? If it was happening something, why it had to happen in that moment? But, the most important thing is... Was it a new power?

Quaranta minuti - Forty minutes

Quaranta minuti

Quaranta minuti.
Li posso quasi udire, assaporare, quasi toccare.
E loro toccheranno me.
Entrai in classe.

Forty minutes

Forty minutes. They are a lot. They aren't the few minutes of that athletic competition, but they are forty.
If a minute could change your life, just think forty.
Those forty minutes are coming, they are here, next to me. I can almost hear, taste them, almost touch them.
They will touch me. "Rossi Gaia Elisa has to come in the room." well, they have just started to touch me.
I went in the room. My class. The class where I had to do the speaking exam of the third year of middle school.

Someone say that the thing to do is to start speaking, and then words will come alone; after, everything that you've studied come to light, because it is "the most simple exam of our life".
The other say that it's not so easy, sometimes just because they didn't studied enough, other times because of an unforeseen during the exam (PowerPoint - with eventual notes to have a better exposition - that doesn't work rightly or feelings that you can't control).

And then there is me, an intersection between these affirmations. Well, that's what I think after the exam, after having done a bad impression, after being almost fainted, after having discovered to have another power.
